Terms of Service

Welcome to DeployShip. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DeployShip website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the DeployShip platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

2. Description of Service

DeployShip is a deployment automation platform that connects to your own infrastructure (VPS or dedicated servers) to automate the deployment of web applications, databases, and related services. We act as a control plane and do not host your application code or data.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account and credentials.
  • Ensuring you have the right to deploy the code and applications you manage through DeployShip.
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your use of our services.
  • The content and legality of the applications hosted on your own infrastructure.

4. Infrastructure Access

By connecting a server to DeployShip, you grant us SSH access to perform necessary automated tasks such as installing dependencies (like Docker, Caddy), pulling code, and managing services. You may revoke this access at any time by removing our SSH key from your server, which will disable DeployShip's ability to manage that server.

5. Service Availability

We strive to ensure DeployShip is available at all times. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our platform. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service with or without notice.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeployShip and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your access to or use of the service. Because we do not host your applications, we are not responsible for any downtime or data loss on your connected servers.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date of these Terms. Your continued use of the service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
